With 11 winners bracelets to his name, Phil Hellmuth was the youngest ever player to take the coveted World Championship NL Holdem event at the age of 24 - this record held for 19 years from 1989 until 2008, when Peter Eastgate won at the age of 22.
All of Phil's World Series bracelets have been won in Holdem events, with a mixture of No-Limit, Fixed-Limit and Pot-Limit betting showing a rare level of adaptability. At the time of writing his total WSOP winnings were more than $6 million, putting Phil 9th in the all-time money winners list.
