 Joe Seebok was born on the 25th of March 1977 in San Francisco. It seems he was destined for the professional career in poker with his Step Father being the very successful poker professional Barry Greenstein. Due to this relationship with Greenstein he has been nicknamed "the cub" since Barry is called "the Bear". Joe turned professional in 2005 and has really made a name for himself in the poker world after dropping out of school where he was studying business.
Joe's lifetime poker winning is reported to be over 1.8 million dollars. In 2006 Joe made 2 World Series of Poker final tables however sadly he never managed to win one. His closest cash to winning the World Series of Poker main event was 56th which considering the size of the field is quite an impressive feat. He has been reported to have won a few different offline and online poker events. These include the 2006 WPT Mirage Poker Showdown where he bagged first for just over 150k and the Heavenly Hold'em Championship for over 200k. Other wins include the 2007 L.A Poker classic for close to 100k and the 2006 WTP Classic event for over 250k.

It quickly becomes apparent that Sebok is no stranger to big money wins. Before Joe too up professional Poker he was actually studying Business at college. It is clear that he still has his passion for business. Sebok is the co founder of the famous "pokerroad.com" which he owns alongside his step father Barry. The site is one of the leading poker media sites on the internet, with exclusive blogs and videos from some of pokers biggest professionals including the world famous Phil Ivey.
Being a professional Poker player didn't mean Joe Sebok limited his betting just to poker. He is famous for taking on ridicules prop bets with friend and betting partner Gavin Smith. In fact the duo were so famous for making prop bets against each other they were given their own internet television series which spread like wild fire around the poker world. The show was shown on a website called rawvegas.tv. Forfeits included appearing as Spiderman , a bear and even Wonder Woman at different WSOP main events.
Sebok is nowhere near the end of his poker career, in 2009 he announced that he would be joining team UB. He also hosts the poker television show "Poker2Nite" which is broadcast by media giants FOX.
